The Route of the Sun is our most popular beach program, which we highly recommend. The tour starts from either Guayaquil or Manta and heads along the coasts of Guayas and Manta, both famous for their beautiful, pristine beaches. Along the way we will visit small fishing villages, historical and present cultures with their archeological ruins, popular and isolated beaches ranging from white, gold and dark sand beaches and a wide variety of flora, much of which is endemic to the coastal areas of Ecuador. A special focus will be done on the Machalilla National Park. We will visit the Island of La Plata , the Frailes and Tortuga beaches and the community of Agua Blanca, descendents of the Mantas who have preserved their culture for thousands of years. Bring your appetite, suntan lotion, bathing suit and camera, you'll need it!
Lodging can be done in fashionable resorts or small cottages along the beach.
This excursion will give you the opportunity to hike, snorkel, dive, horseback, whale watching and surf.
