08:00 Hotel Pick up.
This beautiful drive will take us north east of Quito with great views of the central Andes to the town of Cayambe, where we will try and see how they make the famous bizcochos and queso de hoja (Biscuits and leaf wrapped cheese). From there we will drive through the Paramos up to the refuge hut of Cayambe. Here we can walk to the glacier and to a beautiful lake next to the glacier. On Cayambe you can be on the Equator & on a glacier at the same time!! Cayambe is the third highest peak in Ecuador.

Afternoon return to Quito.
