Market day! Only 2 hours north, Otavalo is considered one of the most important indigenous market in South America. The day will start with a drive through dramatic Andean landscapes. On this exciting trip, not only will you have the chance to practice your bartering skills in the colorful Otavalo market, but you will also visit families as they proudly make their weavings and other products. Visits will be done to the towns of Cayambe (cheese & biscuits), Cotacachi (leather goods), Peguche (tapestries & pan flutes) and Carabuela (weavings). A visit will also be done to the Cuicocha crater lake and the San Pablo lagoon. Afternoon return to Quito.
