Otavalo market and surroundings

Days: 3 Nights: 2

This detailed journey of the famous Otavalo market combines indigenous communities, picturesque towns and their handicrafts, serene lakes and views of the Andes. We will visit the towns of Calderon (dough figurines), Carabuela (weavings), Peguche (tapestries & pan flutes), San Antonio de Ibarra (carvings), Iluman (hats), Cotacachi (leather goods), Quinche (famous cathedral) and Cayambe (cheese & biscuits). A full day will be spent at the market of Otavalo (livestock market and Poncho Plaza). If that wasn't enough, we will also visit the Cuicocha Crater lake, San Pablo lake and the Cochasqui ruins.
