The main highlights of this Overnighter is the serenity and uniqueness of the Angel National Park. Our lodge is nestled ( 11,600 ft ) in a deep glacial valley and surrounded by a Polylepis forest, endemic Frailejon shoots (Espeletia Pycnophylla) and mystical lakes. Made and decorated in a cozy, rustic style, using wood and hay, you'll be enchanted. Activities include hiking, fishing and horseback riding. A three day journey will allow us to visit a colonial hacienda where sugarcane juice is extracted and asparagus is farmed and visit an Afro-Ecuadorian community and see their crafty mask making. This trip is almost too much, for just two days!
